Since 1998, James Piazza has concentrated efforts institutionalizing a value improvement/cost reduction program within an international aerospace power systems manufacturer. For the six prior years, James facilitated cost reduction programs for an automotive OEM working with over one hundred Tier 1 value chain partners. During each client engagement, he has led scores of cross-functional teams in the identification of multi-million dollars worth of savings. James also brings fifteen years worth of public school experience as a teacher, counselor, coach, and administrator.

James completed his undergraduate and graduate work at Eastern Michigan University and his postgraduate work at the University of Michigan. He also completed instructor certification at Arthur Andersen & Company’s World Professional Education Center in 1988. James is also a certified trainer on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

James has affiliation with the American Society of Training and Development, National Speakers Association, Professional Speakers Association of Michigan, and the Society of American Value Engineers.
