Christina N. Olex

Director of Survey Scoring Center and Associate Consultant

Chris Olex is a trainer and facilitator specializing in corporate team development. Relying on experience gained from all levels of the training process -- from customer management to delivery and evaluation -- she works in partnership with a wide range of clients to design, develop, and deliver professional programs.

Chris' skills fully encompass the "ins" and "outs" of organizational development, with training in both indoor and outdoor environments. Her programs are designed to promote teamwork, improve communication, and stimulate creative problem solving through safe, yet challenging elements. She conducts team building and leadership development work through the sport of orienteering, and utilizes experiential learning initiatives, high ropes courses, climbing towers, and the Alpine Tower for team development. A trained facilitator and high course technician, she designs, presents and processes different activities with a wide range of groups focusing on various goals.  In addition, Chris is a certified trainer for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator through the Association for Psychological Type.

In addition to her work in front of groups, Chris also heads up the Aviat Scoring Center.   This endeavor involves behind the scenes data processing for the Denison Organizational Culture Survey and the Denison Leadership Development Survey.  Chris’ extensive knowledge of the survey, its background, administration, and delivery make her a natural to guide clients through the survey process.

Also, currently working with Leapfrog Innovations as a lead facilitator, Chris is actively involved in program creation and design, as well as programmatic logistics. Her corporate client management and development has resulted in a range of programs boasting ten to 500 participants.

In the past, Chris has worked with Orion International, a management consulting firm; the University of Michigan’s Challenge Program, an outdoor, experiential, team-building low and high ropes course; and Aviat, a developer and distributor of off-the-shelf materials for human resource consultants and trainers.  Through these roles, Chris planned, sold, designed and delivered a variety of team-building sessions.  In addition, Chris has conducted support product research, tested future materials for the marketplace, and compiled and reviewed survey data.

A graduate of Bradley University, Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology focusing in Organizational Behavior and Leadership. She also actively supports the AEE International Conference, has been a participant of an Outward Bound course, and recently hiked the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail.
