Lois James is an Industrial/Organization Psychologist with over 10 years experience in consulting and research design focusing on organization culture, change management, human resource strategic planning, assessment, and statistical analyses. Her strengths include aligning human resource capital into short or long-term corporate planning, building and sustaining trusting relationships with clients, and coaching individuals or groups.
Lois has consulted with large account executives and team members on relationship management which impacted their team competencies and business outcomes. She has developed and delivered change management programs focusing on program initiatives and project management. She designed culture change programs to transform traditional hierarchical structures to process-oriented, customer-focused organizations using cross-functional teams and process improvement methods.
Lois developed a centralized measurement framework to assess and monitor customer expectations and satisfaction for a large multi-disciplinary customer base. She uses descriptive and inferential statistical methodologies to analyze results.
Lois has managed a large-scale test validation project for the development and implementation of a selection procedure covering over 124 job families in a Southeastern utility company.
Lois holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, an MS and Ph.D., in Organizational Psychology while being a licensed psychologist through the state of Georgia.
Lois was most recently an instructor, program designer and developer of course ware for a corporate supported leadership training program at EDS. She is currently an independent OD consultant based in Atlanta and has a close working relationship with Orion International.
